This is the type of story you like to see about your son in the military.  As his dad, I know just how strong and capable a man he is.  As a father, I see him as my little boy in harms way. 
   The article in the AP came as a complete surprise to me, of course this is a much much nicer surprise than the military phone call from last week, April 7th..   NO PARENT SHOULD EVER GET THAT CALL.  FORTUNATELY,  things are okay, and Jenny and I have just a few more grays hairs.
